Material experiment with 400g /2006/

400g is same weight as normal human heart.

Some time you don't feel anything but other time hart become heavier then you think depend on your condition. It is interesting how the feeling of weight varies when it's applied on different part of the body and mentality.

Wood necklace:
400g is the weight of a daily meal to keep our health but we don't feel the weight when it is carried in our stomach. I designed 400g wood necklace to feel the weight of meal how much we can eat.

Textile necklace:
When you carry 400g of cloth, I felt heaver then how It looks.However, when you cut it and create a big volume around my neck, it is much lighter than you expected. I found very interesting relationship between volume and weight and feeling.
